What cookies are, which ones GoBusiness Directory uses, and how to change your mind. Non-essential cookies are only ever set with your consent, as required by PECR and the UK GDPR.
Last updated: 12 June 2026 Version 1.0
When you first visit, a consent banner asks which non-essential cookies you will allow — "Accept all" and "Reject non-essential" carry equal weight, and nothing non-essential is set until you choose. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time on the cookie preferences page, which is linked in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent stops the relevant scripts loading from your next page view; cookies already set by third parties can be removed using your browser controls below.
Every modern browser lets you view, block and delete cookies — usually under Settings → Privacy. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you logging in. Guides for common browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. You can also opt out of personalised advertising from Google at adssettings.google.com.

Essential cookies keep you logged in and the site working. We'd also like to set analytics and advertising cookies to help us improve the directory and keep it free. You can choose which to allow, change your mind anytime on the preferences page, or read the full cookie policy.
