Temporary visibility lifts for campaigns and launches — now available on paid plans.
We’re rolling out paid boosts for listings on our paid plans. This new option is designed to give eligible listings extra short-term visibility when timing matters most, whether that is around a product launch, a seasonal campaign, or simply a period when you want to be seen more prominently.
A boost adds temporary points to your ranking score for a fixed window. The key idea is simple: it gives your listing an additional lift for a defined period without changing the points you have already built up over time. That makes boosts a practical tool for businesses that want extra exposure at specific moments rather than a permanent change to how their listing performs.
Paid boosts are intended to help you increase visibility in a controlled, time-limited way. If your listing is already performing well, a boost can help reinforce that visibility during an important campaign. If you are launching something new, it can help you attract attention during the period when awareness matters most.
Because the boost applies for a fixed window, it is especially useful for activity with a clear start and end date. Common use cases include:
The default boost duration is 30 days. This gives you a predictable period in which the extra ranking points apply, making it easier to plan activity around the boost window.
That fixed duration can be helpful for campaign planning. If you are aligning your directory presence with a launch schedule, a busy trading period or a time-sensitive message, knowing the default window in advance makes it easier to choose when to apply the boost.
The point value of a boost is admin-configurable. In other words, the number of temporary points added through a boost is controlled through the platform’s settings rather than being fixed universally.
Live defaults are visible on the features page. If you want to understand the current default setup before applying a boost, that is the best place to check.
One important detail is that your earned points aren’t affected. A paid boost adds temporary points, but it does not replace, reduce or interfere with the ranking points your listing has already earned.
This protection matters because it means boosts can be used as an additional tool rather than a reset or trade-off. You keep the value you have built through your existing listing performance, while the boost sits on top for the duration of the fixed window.
Paid boosts are available for listings on paid plans. If your current plan supports boosts, you will see the relevant option directly in the product interface.
To check availability, open your ranking dashboard and look for the Apply boost option. If it appears there, your plan supports the feature. This keeps the process straightforward: you can confirm eligibility from the same place you already use to monitor ranking performance.
Not every listing needs a boost all the time, which is precisely why this feature is useful. It gives you the flexibility to choose moments when extra visibility is likely to have the greatest impact.
You may want to consider applying a boost when:
To get started, open your ranking dashboard and check for the Apply boost option. If your plan supports it, you can use that route to apply a boost to your listing for the fixed window.
As with any visibility tool, the best results will usually come from timing it around a clear objective. If you already know when your next launch, campaign or seasonal push is happening, paid boosts offer a simple way to support that activity with temporary ranking points while keeping your earned points intact.
